The Shape of Change
Turning a global outlook report into a tactile film.
A global outlook report is designed to help people see the forces shaping the future. The task was to give that thinking a clear visual form that could be absorbed in one sitting.
Working with One Small Pixel, the report itself became the material for the story. Pages folded, layered and opened into a series of paper built scenes, turning complex research into something physical, considered and easy to follow.

Paper With Purpose
The world of the report was built in three dimensions, using folds, layers and shifting perspectives to give complex information a sense of rhythm and scale.
Every scene stayed close to the source material, allowing the graphics and language already on the page to guide the design. The result felt tactile and precise, with enough movement to carry the audience through the story without losing clarity.

From Research to Screen
Live action moments brought another layer of physicality to the film, sitting alongside the CG paper worlds and grounding the visual idea in something recognisable.
The turnaround was tight, so the visual system had to work hard from the start. A focused design approach kept the film cohesive and gave a substantial body of research a memorable form.
