Putting HSBC’s ambition in motion
The Brief
HSBC tasked us with creating two films to open their global conference. Each one needed to visualise their ambition to create the ‘healthiest human system’ in financial services in an abstract way that still felt true to the brand.

As one of the largest global financial institutions we naturally turned to the finer details of a bank note. Taking the viewer on a striking emotional journey through the deconstruction and evolution of finance.

Purpose
The first film looked at the institution’s history, weaving together the legacy of past leaders with pure visual detail, crisp lines and patterns to reflect its strong foundations.

Healthiest Human System
The second film introduced the idea of the healthiest human system. Reflecting the desire to build a more nurturing world by constructing a flower from banknote details. We also featured employee quotes to aid with the introduction and add a crucial human element.
